Olivier Lliboutry
Since 1990, Olivier Lliboutry has been composing music for film, animation, TV series, and documentaries. He writes for full symphony orchestras with choirs, blending world instruments, soloists, chamber ensembles, or even electronic scores.
Trained on the violin from the age of 5, he studied piano, harmony, and electroacoustic composition with Pierre Schaeffer at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. He later honed his skills in Los Angeles (Grove School of Music, UCLA, B.M.I. Film Music Workshop) while composing his first film scores.
Back in France, he completed advanced studies in conducting, composition, counterpoint, fugue, and musicology at the École Normale de Musique de Paris. His career has taken him across Europe, the United States, Asia, Polynesia, the Middle East, Africa, and South America.
